Chief Government ‘Tompolo’ Ekpemupolo has deployed 26 vehicles to Ondo State for the 2027 re-election campaign of President Bola Tinubu.
Tompolo, the grand patron of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, announced the deployment through Tantita Security Services Managing Director, Chief Kestin Pondi, at the inauguration of the movement’s local government and ward coordinators in Akure on Tuesday.
He urged the coordinators to mobilise the state’s 2 million registered voters for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.
“Become ambassadors and translate the 2m registered voters into votes.
“We are inaugurating local government and ward coordinators today with 26 vehicles to reach every nooks and crannies, and creeks to hear the PBAT story.
“The president is the son of the South West and he is doing well. Today, we no longer have fuel queues, we no longer have ASUU strike, salaries and pensions are being paid. Preach it everywhere. I urge you to encourage the President with your votes in 2027.
“Do not to be deceived by political opponents who have no history of verifiable results, but I appeal to you to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) across all elective positions in the 2027 general elections,” said Tompolo, who was represented by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services, Chief Kestin Pondi
The Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, also pledged support for the movement and Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
“Ondo State is for Asiwaju. That’s where we stand. So, let me thank the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for the donation of these vehicles that would ease mobility and ensure that our coordinators reach every part of this state.
“We will continue to welcome all support groups in support of the President and all APC candidates in the state. Any support group that is not for all our candidates would not be welcomed here. We guarantee you all the necessary support and security and assure you that there is no going back in this endeavor,” the governor said.
The national coordinator of the movement, Hon. Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, urged residents to question opposition parties about their records in government, defending Tinubu’s economic policies as necessary for the country’s future.
He also called on students to support the president, citing the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and the administration’s handling of university-related issues.
“You must ask the opposition very hard questions why our country is where it is today. Most of them were in power for long and left us where we are and it is for this reason that the President is taking the hard decisions for a better tomorrow.
“Today, our students are in school, no ASUU strike and they are getting their tuition paid and receiving allowances. To all the students in Ondo and beyond, this is the time to vote massively so that NELFUND would stay and continue to benefit many more of you,” Asuku urged the voters.
The Ondo APC chairman Kolawole Babatunde commended Aiyedatiwa for supporting the movement’s local government and ward coordinators. He said the state government had continued to commit resources to campaigns for Tinubu and other APC candidates.
Babatunde predicted that Ondo State would deliver at least 1 million votes for Tinubu in the 2027 election.
