Shehu Dikko visits Uba Sani Media Centre, urges professionalism ahead of 2027 elections

The Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko, has urged members of the Uba Sani Media Centre (USMC) in Kaduna to uphold professionalism, teamwork and effective communication in carrying out their responsibilities ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Dikko gave the charge when he paid a courtesy visit to the media centre, where he interacted with members of the team and offered professional advice and encouragement.

During the visit, the National Sports Commission chairman commended Governor Uba Sani for what he described as purposeful leadership, inclusive governance and developmental strides across Kaduna State.

He also applauded the governor for the successful hosting of the APC presidential campaign flag-off rally in Kaduna, which attracted party leaders, stakeholders and supporters.

Dikko encouraged members of the media team to remain dedicated to their responsibilities, work collectively and demonstrate the professionalism required to meet the expectations placed on them.

He emphasised the importance of effective communication, unity of purpose and sustained commitment in communicating government policies and activities to the public.

The Commission chairman also urged the media team to contribute to the campaign efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In response, the Uba Sani Media Centre expressed appreciation to Dikko for the visit, encouragement and professional guidance.

The media team reaffirmed its commitment to communicating the activities and achievements of Governor Sani’s administration, while also advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.
