7 hours ago 1

Kano Pillars earned their first point away to Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) in nine years with a 0-0 draw in a rescheduled NPFL Matchday 3 fixture at the Lekan Salami Stadium.

The result ended a long drought for Kano Pillars, as their previous non-defeat away to the Oluyole Warriors came on June 7, 2017—also a 0-0 draw.

Since then, Pillars had lost their last four trips to Ibadan, conceding six goals while scoring just once.

Both sides created chances but failed to convert. Shooting Stars dominated possession (65%) and had more attacks and dangerous attacks, while Kano Pillars remained solid defensively in an unbeaten start to the 2026/27 season.
