4 hours ago 1

The nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Enyimba FC, have officially unveiled the three shortlisted candidates in contention for the club’s Player of the Month award for September.

The nominees,Wonah William, goalkeeper Dede Dare, and Chibueze Damian, were announced across the club’s official social media platforms following a demanding stretch of fixtures for the Aba-based side.

While the People’s Elephant endured a challenging September campaign managing just a single victory across five matches, the trio stood out for their resilience and individual contributions on the pitch.

Dede Dare: The reliable shot-stopper has been one of the standout performers for Enyimba since the start of the 2026-27 NPFL campaign, consistently bailing out the defense under intense pressure.

Wonah William & Chibueze Damian: Both players have played key roles in steadying the ship and fueling the team’s recent upward trajectory, providing vital energy and tactical discipline during a testing period.

As Enyimba looks to build on their recent momentum and climb further up the domestic standings, recognition of individual hard work serves as a welcome boost for the squad ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
