A Nigerian man, Zakiru Yanda Jipan, has hailed his first wife ahead of his second marriage.
Zakiru is set to marry a second wife, Zakira Sahadatu Abubakar, in January 2027 in Bida, Niger State.
He took to Facebook to share their pre-wedding photos, including some pictures, with his first wife, Zakira Hawwa Jipan.
He described his first wife as “the controller of the house”, reaffirming his loyalty to her.
“Alhamdulillah, the date is January 8. Insha Allah. Road to Jipan,” he wrote.
"My iron lady is here with my wife-to-be, Sayyada Madinah, the controller of the house.
“I remain loyal, my iron lady, my mother's namesake. That's why sometimes I called her Mama (D).”
