A woman identified as Mrs. Anas Iorsase, allegedly inflicted severe burns on the nanny during a heated argument in Makurdi, Benue State.
Benue activist Zege Orkwande disclosed this in a Facebook post on Friday, October 16, 2026.
According to him, the woman confessed to the act, claiming she did out of provocation while claiming she didn't realise the water was hot.
Detailing the nature of the confrontation, Orkwande
stated;
"Another assault and hot water bath in Makurdi. As alleged, Mrs. Anas Iorsase of Akpehe bath (poured) her nanny with very hot water because of little arguments," he wrote.
"When i called her this afternoon, she confessed that "the act was out of provocation and she thought the water wasn't very hot".
“As usual, let the law handle her provocation.”
