‘I’m Medically, scientifically blind, but i can see’ — Fr. Mbaka recounts doctors’ shock

Catholic priest and founder of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has shared an account of what he described as a profound medical and scientific mystery surrounding his vision following comprehensive optical examinations in the United States.

Speaking in a recorded testimony after returning from abroad, the cleric revealed that ophthalmological specialists informed him that the condition of his eyes had deteriorated beyond the threshold of severe visual impairment, yet he continues to read and navigate independently without assistance.

Mbaka explained that the evaluations were prompted by years of intense stress and sleeplessness. Upon undergoing advanced diagnostic testing, the medical team initially assumed he required full-time assistance.

"They said medically and scientifically, it is not possible for a man whose eye issue has reached the fifth or sixth level of blindness to see, talk less of coming by himself," Mbaka recounted.

The medical professionals reportedly expressed astonishment when the priest proceeded to open a Bible and read directly from its pages in their presence, remarking that such functionality would require entirely new biological optics.

The findings were subsequently reviewed by Dr. Chiogbu Chukwu in Los Angeles alongside another specialist, Dr. Scott, who both purportedly confirmed that the physical structures of the eyes were no longer clinically functional despite his intact sight.

"Chiogbu confirmed through Dr. Scott that, medically, scientifically, the two eyes are gone. But I’m seeing with them," Mbaka said. "What then do you call a miracle? I’m a beneficiary."

Despite attributing his continued sight to divine intervention, the cleric cautioned his congregation against dismissing orthodox medical science in favor of faith healing alone. Urging his followers to balance spiritual devotion with professional healthcare, Mbaka emphasized that medical practitioners derive their expertise from divine creation.
